Sheriff’s deputies and San Diego Police joined the high-speed pursuit of the grey sedan through La Mesa, Spring Valley and Lemon Grove on Rebecca Way, near Monte Vista High School, where three men fled on foot, according to Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Lt. Kenn Nelson, 10 News reports.
When police deployed a K-9 dog, one of the suspects was bitten by the police dog and opened fire. Four officers from the three agencies fired back, killing the shooter.
