September 21, 2017 (Lemon Grove) – On Oct. 5 at 7 p.m., the 40th season of "History Alive" continues in the H. Lee House, 3205 Olive, Lemon Grove, when Roberta Bulling and Prabakar Mahalingam (photo), leaders of the Baha'i faith in Lemon Grove, present the fascinating story of this major religion and its links to U. S. history.
Though less well-known than other world faiths, Baha'i has taken its place in the hearts and minds of all those who espouse tolerance, compassion, universal brotherhood and peace, and the importance of community. Join us for this classic edition of the lecture series. "History Alive is free, suitable for ages 18 and over--and one of the best loved series in the county.
Videotaping of "History Alive" lectures is underwritten by a Community Enhancement Grant from the San Diego Board of Supervisors on the recommendation of Supervisor Dianne Jacob, District 2, while ancillary costs of the series are underwritten by the Mary England Endowment for Education.
