By Paul Kruze, Contributing EditorOctober 3, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – “Kids Care Fest,” a healthcare festival for kids will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Lemon Grove Recreation Center at 3131 School Lane in Lemon Grove.
Sponsored by the Grossmont Healthcare District, those attending this annual public event can receive flu shots, wellness checks and health information, including cancer, vision and dental screenings, all provided free for children and families.
The event will also feature healthy fun for all, including rock climbing, pony rides, healthy workshops and music.
Representatives from various healthcare programs offered in San Diego’s East Region will also be at the event.
The Grossmont Health Care District is a sponsor of East County Magazine’s Wildfire Alerts.
