June 1, 2023 (Lemon Grove) –
The County Medical Examiner’s office has identified Lisa Afton Anderson, 61, as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a pickup truck on March 24.
Her residency is unknown.
According to the San Diego Sheriff’s department, she was arguing with a homeless person in the 3400 block of Harris Street in Lemon Grove early in the morning on May 24, when she was hit by the pickup and thrown into the roadway. The driver fled the scene.
Witnesses called 911 and paramedics arrived, performing emergency live saving measures to no avail. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
