May 13, 2016 (Lemon Grove) - Chantella Matira Ferguson, 32, of Lemon Grove died May 9th shortly after midnight at Scripps Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained when she was struck by a vehicle at 11:15 p.m. on May 7th.
According to the County Medical Examiner, witnesses told San Diego Police that Ferguson abruptly stopped and exited her vehicle on Mission Bay Drive in San Diego and was struck by a sedan in the number two lane.
911 was called and she was transported to the hospital, where she died of multiple blunt force injuries.
