June 25, 2016 (Lemon Grove) – The Short List is back! Summer film night resumes on June 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lemon Grove Library, 3001 School Lane, and will continue every Wednesday evening thereafter through July 27. Comedy, drama, animation and documentary from the long-running PBS series, The Short List -- now a cult classic among viewers who relish great short film as they do air and water -- will remind you that the world is large and never dull.
The June 29 lineup includes award-winners from six countries like the classic American comedy "Meeting in New York," the hilarious crime caper "The Bloody Olive" from Belgium, the touching "Man With Pendulous Arms" from France and the sly knee slapper "One Day a Man Bought a House" from Norway.
The series is sponsored by the Lemon Grove Historical Society and the Lemon Grove Library and made possible by New Pacific Productions. The Short List is geared to a general audience ages 18 and over.
